My name is Dominika Suprun. I create illustrations shaped by three core influences: nature, Polish folk art and the visual language of printmaking.
I work with bold contrasts, imperfect lines and organic forms, and I enjoy playing with brushstrokes, texture and rhythm. I work primarily in digital media, but my process is deeply connected to traditional techniques — especially linocut and other printmaking methods. The raw, imperfect quality of analogue tools strongly influences the atmosphere of my pieces, both digital and hand-made.
I’m inspired by plants, mythology, folk narratives and different aspects of womanhood. Many of my illustrations carry symbolic or emotional layers rather than literal stories — they’re open to interpretation and meant to evoke a feeling rather than a plot.
I create both personal artwork and commissioned illustrations.
I live and work in Gdynia, Poland.
